Seems like I remember winter being long and harsh. February was pretty slim on rides, but looking back at March, I got in a lot of miles. I guess it wasn’t really as bad as I thought. Let’s look at some of the best photos from March. Which ones do you like?

This was the time of year that I was having major doubts about finishing the DK200, just three months away. The weather was cold and windy and I was only getting up to about 80 miles on my longest rides. The blog was getting more and more popular, I was getting more and more into cycling and the Adventure Monkey was really starting to take off. I was determined to do something amazing and continued to push on in my training for the DK200. Makes me want to go ride.

Out of this set, Lone Tree, Forever Road, and Red Barn are my favorites. Even though wasn’t very green when you took the photos, the Flint Hills have a lot of texture that makes for interesting photos.
