I am sorry for the lack of posts these days. The main reason is that I need some time to research and put together my bikpacking kit for the Stagecoach 400 coming in April. That sucker is right around the corner.
I have been researching shelters, sleeping bags, clothes, tires, sleeping pads, stuff and compression sacks, GPS devices and other things I haven’t mentioned. I am getting things dialed in and will let you know in detail what my final kit will consist of. I am trying to keep it simple and very lightweight. I am also busy with travel planning.
Then there’s the behind the scenes things I’ve been doing to this site. Things are coming along.
Plus I have been more dedicated to get in training time on the trainer than I ever have been before. I am looking forward to longer days, for sure.
To spice things up a bit we will be hearing from a few people on the Pablove-Adventure Monkey Dirty Kanza 200 team. We are a diverse group and we will write about our training and preparations for the DK200. You will meet Uma, the bike yoga guru, Erik, the guy that made this team a reality and Jennifer, my beautiful wife and total cycling newbie. Be looking out for these guest posts and links to their sites and information.
Oh, and thanks to everyone that has signed up for the AM Newsletter. I will soon figure out how to use that and give you a great deal on some product!
