The second half of 2011 was a busy one. Here’s some of the best images to describe last year. Oh and this is the first official post on the new blog. The pictures may be a little out of order since I had to bring them over from the other server and I lost their dates. No worries. They are still fun to look at.

The Farmhouse Classic put on by Joe Fox of Cycle City proved to be a real butt kicker with a beautiful hilly course and hot, humid conditions. Luckily we had some shade.

The Hill late in the course that had me pushing as I cramped up.
Onto the Gravel Worlds. Luckily it was a cool, cloudy day. The rollers in this course never ended. I ended up having a good day but the hike a bike muddy sections were a little much.

A nice MMR in Nebraska

Never ending hils

Nearing the end of the Gravel Worlds course, a monster on a Surly Big Dummy passed me. Open wound, here’s some salt.

Riding into the storms on the Flint Hills

Luckily, my road turned before I hit this storm

Lone Tree on Middle Creek Road

I got to shoot some pictures of the Melvern River Trail Race. That was a lot of fun and I am looking to do more of this.
The Flint Hills Cycling Tour was a big hit last fall

Riding the Rollers

I got motivated to put some art together too.

In October I was lucky enough to take my first fatbike ride in Minnesota. I was hooked.

In October my stepson, Marcus, and Ashley got married.
