Why I recommend purchasing this camera:

Overall, this is a great camera for shooting from the bike. I use it. Here’s a few highlights:

The lens - this camera has a 24mm Leica lens that stops down to 2.0! What that means to you is a sharp image with low light capabilities and a very shallow depth of field when needed.

Image quality - for a point and shoot camera it’s damn good. Plus you can shoot in RAW to capture more dynamic range to use in post processing. In good lighting and low ISOs the image quality is impeccable.

View images from the blog to see samples. I can email you full res images on request.

Size – It’s not the smallest P&S out there, but it is a great size for an on-the-bike camera.

Ease of Use - for an experienced shooter, this camera is easy to use and has most of the controls available without having to go into the menus. It may not be the easiest to use for beginners, but overall it’s a camera that is easy to use and learned quickly. It’s intelligent Auto mode works well, but as you know I recommend shooting in Manual as much as possible.

Oh yeah, it shoots HD video too if you’re into that.
